Julie has been working for the NHS in England, in the same hospital, for over 46 years. Guys... this one was such a rollercoaster of emotions. Here's the story. Kylie's mum Barbara got in touch with us via our Surprise Someone programme. She told us all about her daughter's journey from the shock diagnosis of 4 brain tumours, whilst pregnant with twins, in 2020. She told us all about her bravery, selflessness, and commitment to her kids whilst battling such horrendous health issues and uncertainty for the future. We just had to do something special for her! Barbara also told us that Kylie LOVED Aston Merrygold (a part of JLS, now solo star 🤩) and that she had booked VIP tickets to see his show in London. So now we had a mission. Create a flash mob for Kylie... and get Aston involved. Fast forward a good 6 months, and we still hadn't managed to get hold of Aston. One last try to a management contact (the lovely Dan!) and we had an INSTANT yes from him. The plan was in place!!! Our choreographers (Ola and Arizona) got to work on creating some new choreography to Aston's song. Kylie's cousin, Sharae, convinced her that there was a VIP meeting place near the station near the venue. But of course... that was all us.
